ON CAMPUS CLASSESOFF CAMPUS CLASSES

To ensure your child’s safety please review the following:

Getting to After-School Classes

Children are responsible for reporting to the Recreation Rooms at Reed and Bel Aire schools immediately after-school.  Recreation staff will greet the children.  Parents must assess whether their child can assume this level of responsibility. If your child is going to be absent from a recreation class please contact the Recreation office at 435-4355.

Children must be picked up promptly at the class location. In order for students to be released to meet parents elsewhere on campus, walk home, or remain on campus, you must provide written permission to the recreation staff. A late fee of $5.00 per each 10 minutes of lateness will be assessed for late pick-ups. A bill will be issued and payment is to be made to Belvedere-Tiburon Recreation.  If the late pick-up problem persists, your child’s enrollment may be cancelled.

Coordination with Childcare Facility (BTCCC)

You will need to make arrangements with the Belvedere-Tiburon Childcare Center to have your child released from their care to attend our recreation classes. Due to staffing limitations, we are not able to pick-up or drop-off children at the BTCCC.

Behavior Standards

Our rules are simple and reflect our concern for the safety and welfare of the children both as individuals and as members of the group. Uncooperative and disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to remove a child from the recreation program if it is deemed necessary for the safety of your child or the physical and emotional well being of the other children in our care.

Absence Notification Penalty

In order for the staff to maximize instruction time, it is necessary to call Belvedere-Tiburon Recreation at 435-4355 if your child is going to be absent from a recreation class. Failure to give advance notice if your child is going to be absent will result in a $10 non-notification fee being assessed.
